Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, emphased that extraction Bitcoin mining from industrial electricity is against the law. He said Bitcoin mining consumes a lot of electricity and this kind of uses will reduce the production of the electricity and should be addressed seriously.
According to Coiniran, quoting the ISNA news agency in response to a question regarding the lack of electricity for industrial estates and Bitcoin mining using industrial electricity, he said:
“This is illegal, as Bitcoin mining consumes a lot of electricity, and it is the same type of use that reduces production.”
If there is something, then it should be taken care of. I will definitely negotiate with the Ministry of Energy to solve the producers’ problems.
